I went too 35's the same time i got my smarty, and i have a 6 speed, but i gained a solid average of 2+ mpg. I was averageing 19 with summer fuel with a best of 22.5, and now with winter fuel i am averaging 21, with a best of 22.9.

That's what I did. Went from the stock 265's to 315's. Love the way it looks but with the auto your mileage will suffer. Cost me 2-3 mpg. Yes....I know my speedo is off, by 5mph. I checked it. Pulling there is a lost of power too. Due to the higher ratio created by the 315's. Guys out there with manual trans probably wouldn't experience any of this.
Mine are heavy lug MT's so it may not be as noticeable with an AT.

its the width of the tire that kills milage more than anything.(more rubber on the road equals more friction). the TOYO 285/75/17 look pretty good to me. that will be my next tire for sure.

Just ordered a set of Helo HE835 and gonna wrap them with Nitto Terra 295's, coming up from 265's. I'll keep ya posted on how they do. Getting 17-18 with 50/50 driving.

Also keep in mind your over head MPG isnt correct if you are using a tuner or a box not sure why but they jack up the computer, even if you have one that allows you to change tire size. Add the percentage and use a pencil if you want to know what its really doing.
