Tire pressure monitor
Was wondering if anyone knows of an after market tire pressure monitor kit?
We were going from one lake to another last week, about a 5 hour drive. At the top of a long steep hill (HWY 24 out of Little Fort) I could hear a tire going low, by the time I pulled over the front left was totally flat.
The tire store I took it to for repair told me the cords of the sidewall were shot cuz I was driving too long at low pressure (the tire had a hole from a nail or something). Seems kinda weird, especially being on the front, you'd think I woulda noticed something sooner.
So now with 3 tires half worn I need to buy 1 new tire but I think I'll get 2 and use the most worn of the 3 as my spare (I was using my old 265 stocker), so it's gonna cost be $500. This wouldn't have happened if I had some way to monitor the tire pressure, even something simple like a light coming on to tell me 1 of them is low. anyone heard of something and/or have any experience with something similar?

Ummmm, no thanks, too much money for that, none of my parts would fit it and I'm really pretty sure I like the 5.9 better than the 6.7.
Good idea, thanks.
