I went to a dodge dealer and had them print off the R&I pages from there manel and they let me use the cummins tools (chop sticks-fishing rod) for the install .
and if your putting in new lifters make sure the block of motor is leavel makes fishing the lifters easyer.

some very helpful info...
I read through everything i could before i did my swap.
Some tips...find the tool to remove the fan clutch properly....i spent 30 mins with a large adjustable wrench and a prybar....busted the hell out of my knuckles...but got it off. Also I just loosened my power steering pump so it was out of the way of the front cover rather than removing it or it's pulley. I was able to snake the pushrods and dowels in and out of the rear two cylinders with just the rubber plugs in the cowl removed. I did not have to remove the wipers or anything. I removed my front bumper first for ease...it was 4 bolts and i was able to uninstall and install it by myself...it made working on the engine much easier.
IF i remember any other tips i will chime back in.

Get a new oil seal for the front timing cover, or it will probably leak from then on.
Overall, it's not that bad...just take your time and have fun!
I second the fan wrench suggestion ^^^.
I'll PM you my phone number...call me if you run into anything or have questions. I just finished my install last week.
