timing v/s fuel pressure

timing v/s fuel pressure
what is easier on the engine a box that boost rail pressure, or a box that changes timing? or one that does a little of both. is there something better than a edge ez? I'm only looking for a hundred horse or less. I'm running a ez box and have been doing so for about 80000, I have had the injectors replaced and now the pump is leaking, I only run it on 2, maybe a fluke. just looking at all my options.

When you change the pressure i'm pretty sure as a byproduct it changes the timing slightly also. I found the Quad XZt(similar to the EZ) to be very nice for everyday driving if you don't really need the additional power. Most any chip is going to do pressure and timing. If your looking for only about a 100 get the quad standard or the edge juice. Both have the ability to be upgraded to the race programs if wanted for a fee.
You can also choose to buy a programmer which will change timing and duration along with tq management or low end fueling makes for a nice everyday driver and can be safe if used properly. It is all sa matter of preference and where you see yourself going with your truck. I never though i was gonna put money into my truck now i'm $2600 in and a some tranny parts that need be installed.
