Will do

Bama, just to make sure I did this correctly. I turned the timing ring upside down (bowl side down) put the dowel hole at 12 oclock and cut out the left side. Does that sound correct. And I will check to make sure it is clear of any edges.

Thanks
JP

JP, If looking at the tone ring as it is mounted to the back of harmonic balancer (if looking at the front of the engine) you would remove the left side material on the dowel hole at the 12 o'clock position.

??

Mike,

I took the ring off again and filed some more. When I was done I restarted the truck and ugggg. The same RPM 725 to 750. No diffrence again. Before tightening the bolts I moved the ring CW as far as it would go. It moves alot before installing the bolts, but as soon as the bolts are installed movement is minimual. What is your take?

JP,
I wouldn't go by the idle. My idle didn't change with the Rokktech sensor. Only difference by driving is the 2k rpm power surge moved down to 1500 rpms. And my around town and towing mileage went up.

OK Mike

I will just watch it and see. It feels like it pulls a little stronger off the line, but I thought that might just be my heavier foot recently with gas prices dropping

But I will watch the mileage and see what happens.

Thanks for the help

JP
