Ok guys, I'm definatley new to the diesel world, for info this site is the best imho. I just got beat by a dmax running a bully dog. My truck is a dd with the occasional wood/hay/camper duties on the weekend so im wondering whats the best way for improvement? injectors, programmer, fuel system... guages and a south bend are on my list next. any thoughts would be appreciated

 

Your gonna need alot to keep up with a modded duramax from a stand still rowing a 6spd. A simple programmer on a DMAX will take it into the 13's. A good clutch, turbo, fuel system, and I am sure I am leaving out something. Smarty seems to be the way to go right now but I am sure a million ppl are gonna post get a smarty.

 

Gauges, fuel system, and to handle any excess power, a turbo to go along with your clutch... or you'll just have crazy egt's trying to catch that Dura.
