Time for new tires on my dually.

What are the dually guys running for a taller tire on there trucks? I would like to get around a 34" or 35" tall tire without having to use spacers. Is this possible? I wanted to go with the 315/70-17 Maxis Mudders but they dont offer them that size in 17" wheels? I want a good agressive looking tire but still need something that handles decent on the street? What are the suggestions?

I want to win the lottery .... but get real ... 315 mud tires without spacers....I've heard of 285/75/17's Toyo oc at being mounted on duallys with very little space between them but they are only 33.8 inches high. I have Cooper S/T 265 70 17 mounted and they have 1/4 inch on the sidewall but they touch on the bottom loaded or with less than 60lbs when empty. ks

Funny you say that, I did win the lottery!!!

I have come down to the Super Swamper Speacialty tires that they offer. They have one made for dually applications but they are getting back with me on the specs. Evidently its a tire that the oil field workers use a lot.

I dont tow anything much heavier than my four wheeler so thats not an issue for me. I might just go all out and make a sure enough aggressive looking play toy out of it and put the 34X10.50-17 Swamper LTB's on it. It might ride like crap and they might wear like crazy but the cost is good on them and it would look wicked!!!!

i am very curious as to what you all the dually guys are putting on their trucks.........i am going to be in need for some tires in a few months and want to get something taller and a little wider. but i really dont want to add alot of spacer in the rear. the truck is street driven about 90% of the time and not towed with extremely heavy, with exception to the past weekend

If you want 35s, the Swamper Trxus M/Ts are good. I've got a brand new one on the spare tire rim that I never used I can cut u a heck of a deal on. I almost went with the LTBs but they will wear out in no time. I put over 35K on my Trxus M/Ts.

I had a 2" spacer. I can post pics when I get home tonight. Plenty of clearance with the 2" spacer too.

I had billet aluminum spacers. I hear the steel spacers are better but I never had any issues. I just ran a little less psi in the outer tires to take some of the load off the spacers.
