I like Pro Comp Xtrme at's. I actually am trying to get rid of some that are 305/65/17 Right know. I have 35x12.50 And the wear awesome as long as I keep the white smoke down

if they're available now, it seems like a great size if you don't want to run 35's. i just don't understand why they would bother to put out this size as it's so close to their 295/70/17?

found out the big difference between the 285/75/17 and the 295/70/17- the 285's are rated for almost 1000 lbs. less. a pretty big trade off for picking up about 1/2" in size.

I would recomend toyo m/t's, I was thinking about the procomp extreme a/t's also but, But I got 45,000 hard miles out of my toyo's and I think that is pretty good for a 35" mud tire. And they look great.

Went to a local dealer on Friday and asked him about the 285/75/17 AT's, of course he said I was crazy, called his warehouse, that guy said I was crazy but had 7 of them in stock. They are out there and to me are a very interesting setup.

Of those of you out there running AT's, have you had any issues with strange tread wear? The block designs I've run in the past had a tendency of wearing weird. New shocks and good front end and they still wore strange. I was told it was the design and the weight up front. Really don't know if that's fact or fiction.

Right now they are hard to find that's for sure but at the right height and width for me I'm gonna keep looking. Plus, their load capacity is something like 3900 lbs which is something I like. For most people though the E rating isn't going to mean much, but for what I intend to do which is hauling a heavy load now and again it does.
