I have been looking at the avic-z2 and the kenwood dnx7100. Both have internal hard drives for navigation and both can be "fooled" to watch dvds while underway. The difference is about 500 bucks more for the avic because it has a 30g hard drive with 10g for music.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!!
If you have a Z2 that was manufactured AFTER June of 2007, there is a bypass!
Remove the mute wire from the RCA harness it is in, then relocate it to the bottom right pin on the other RCA harness and ground it with the parking brake wire. You're in there like swimwear!!!!
For everyone who has a Z2 manufactured BEFORE June of this year, follow the steps listed in the link below:

My older Clarion recently stopped working, so I picked up the Alpine IVA-D105 6.5" screen, and I am very pleased with it. I didn't really do much research on it, but I got a great price on an opened unit, so I picked it up.

I had a Kenwood DVD with TV tuner in another car and to bypass it all I did was connecting the driving cable of the DVD to ground, that way I was able to see DVD's and TV while moving, however, even thought I was able to do it, never did watch it while driving, so its not really that necessary !!
I´m planning to install that radio in my Ram, but still waiting for my subs to come, will use two Orion HP 10" at 500w RMS each. These subs are excellent for the RAM, because they only need 0.40 - 0.65 cu. ft. and 6.5" of depth, so they will fit and perform perfectly in a box under the rear seat. Will post pictures when its done. Amps will go behind the SUB box.
