anybody have the crossover steering with factory rims. don says it might not work with the factory rims. he said the backspacing was 6". i doubled check and the oem backspacing is actually 6.25" help!!!

 

It will not work. I found out first hand. I needed to have my truck aligned, and nobody would do it unless I put my factory tires back on. I put them on and wasn't paying attention, I put the truck in reverse and it would not move so I gave it some gas. I got out and it looked like somebody had taken a lathe to the inside of the factory wheel.

 

****! i appreciate it!! i am running 285 bfg ta/ko"s .i want to stay with a 17x8 rim. now i have to find out what backspacing i would need in an aftermarket rim-that would not stick out too far!!!
