Thuren Steering Stabilizer

For those who haven't seen yet, Don has a new steering stabilizer up on his site. Check it out here. It's a single stabilizer setup utilizing a Fox shock. The price is right on this one.

If you have questions about give him a call.

I notice that it states that with their track bar and this stabilizer, DW should be kept under control? Is this true? Is this some what of a fix for death wobble? If so, sign me up for two! I am to the point of trading the truck off if I cant get it fixed!

It will definately control the wheels better than the stock unit. And Don's track bar is highly recommended and also helps control the front end. If you saw the stock parts next to Don's parts you would know why. If you are experiencing death wobble with the stock suspension these parts will help. You really should call Don and talk to him. He's super cool and will do his best to help you out.

That's a really nice looking unit. BUT, it sure looks vulnerable to a ROCK.

No more vulnerable than the stock unit. Because of how the steering is set up there's not much you can do about that but maybe build some kind of rock shield around it.

You could buy Carli's stabilizer with the rock shield. It's $600 though.

Not knocking Carli's setup 'cause it is awesome, but the rock shield only covers the area at the pumpkin. There's still lots of shock out in the wind.

Maybe I'll ask Lagunaduelly for some work to help pay for all the neat stuff I want to put on the ol' truck!

You sure that's Carli's rock shield? Defiant has one that looks exactly the same.

My superlift stabilizer uses u-bolts which I'd think has the same clamping power it not less than that clamp. Guess I'll find out cause i got one :-)

From what I gather, Defiant sells Carli's stuff.
