Threw a code Not sure?
On my way home tonight Threw a Code. P0148 (High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) Checksum*) Is the code and it happen when I was hammer down. Unfortunatly I was not looking my gauges when it threw the check engine light. Smarty settings where:SW#9 TQ#2 Shift off, RPM High,Timing #1,Rail pressure #3. Any Ideas? I'm not sure what it means, and the Truck still runs good and the gauges read fine. Thanx for the help in advance.

I have my rail capped and this stg3 pump does do some spiking. It hasn't happened before evn with 2 dyno runs with revo on pressure #4. I'm glad it has happened to others. Will this happen once I put my pressure box on. What pressure was I at when it popped the code?

Mine used to do it but has since stopped. I would get them under light driving/load. From talking with Quad, they think it is because the computer is being tricked, the PSI the pump is creating does not match the amount you typically would need under normal conditions. So you may only need 15,000 psi and the computer is being tricked to pumping out 22,000 psi. It becomes out of some parameter.
I think you can get that code from draining the rail as well. I think it covers all "fuel delivery error's"
