Thinking it is time for some type of programmer
As the title states, I am looking for some type of programmer. I keep hearing all these terms; perrsure box, fueling box, downloader, etc.....
I am completly lost LOL, this is my first diesel so all this is new to me.
Here is what I am looking for. I would like to see a gain in MPG (1-3 mpg will be fine with me). Would like to have a adjustable setting, on the fly would be nice. Something that doesnt cause the EGTs to go through the roof, and Undetectable.
Has of right now I am leaning towards the smarty jr.
BTW is a EGT a must have? I dont plan on towing much more then 5500-6000 lbs

YEP!, Smarty lowers egt's, shifts on the fly now, better milage and has all the power you'll want without killing your transmission. BIGGEST THING IS UNDETECTABLE!!!
