Thinking of going to the smarty.
What is the difference in the tunes that do or don't add timing? Does the added timing get better mileage or performance? Also does the quad xzt get along with the smarty or do I need to pull the quad? Thanks

I've always ran the timing programs. They have Marcos touch of timing. The no timing files are mainly for stacking it with something that implements timing. The Smarty stacks very well with the Quad.

I have the Smarty Quad stack. I run the "no timing" settings on the Smarty (even numbers) since Quad adds timing. It works pretty well for power, but there is no mileage increase at all.
Mads site shows info that the Smarty works the best if you use the odd number settings that have "dynamic" timing.
It's probably best if I make the time to send my Quad in to get the timing removed and have it be a pressure only box so I can utilize the Smarty to it's full potential.

After having the quad reprogrammed for pressure only there would be no need of the three position swith would it or would it give three levels of pressure like it does with the three hp settings?

if you end up sending the quad in you should upgrade to the x2 i thinks its like no more than $110, with the x2 it has a usb port so you can download whatever program you want whenever you want, not to mention the x2 reads rail pressure which comes in handy
