A week ago I posted a horrific tranny shop story and bad mouthed the company that did the work. I now have a new question regarding these built trannies. Apparently the problem that caused my HD TC to blow 3 times was that there was a wire which controled how the TC operated and that wire was partially shorted out which caused abnormal TC operation. Well, luckily these guys figured this out and fixed it. They then ordered a custom built TC & VB from Suncoast. I drove the truck for about 100 miles nd when I went to take off from a dead stop the truck would not shift out of 1st gear. No I wasn't hammering down on the throttle I simply took off like a granny. I shut the truck off and restarted it from then on it drove and shifted fine. Does anybody have any ideas what could cause this?
