Never had my truck on a dyno but I would guess it is probably around low 400's. Is it even possible to trash a billet input at that hp? I figured that it should be good to around 600 hp unless it was a defective shaft.

You twist them enough they break, thats a given. Actually the stock input will take more twisting without breaking than a billet, just doesn't take it as long or come back into shape.

It depends on how bad it was and where. The converter will need to be redone and it may have taken out the front pump. If it was a clean break very little cleaning may be needed, but if it splinter, you will need to have the VB disassemblied and cleaned at the least.
