Tailgate lock

I have used the Bully Tailgate lock on the last three trucks I have had. They work great IMO, look just like OE equipment and lock as securely as any lock can on a tailgate. This one has been one for over a year and a half with no issues.

Why not get an electric lock. Its convenient to know that when you lock your doors, the tailgate is locked as well. No keys and it looks better.
Just an option.....

Power Tailgate lock is the only way to go. It takes about 30 minutes to install and works with the drivers door lock system. I won't say it's fool proof but it does a much better job than the key lock systems. All of the parts are inside the tailgate.

Same here no problems getting to the lock assy.
