My 3.5's were to much for my 66 and Ben has to run water with 3's. I could see 3.8's with a 2.8 but no more than 4's. Obviously you have never seen my pyro it gets warm quick without water, water just prolongs it. I've got a 4th nozzle and second pump on shelf waiting for time to put it in. I bet you get your pump done and you'll have smoke coming down track with your 2's now.

I like this thread, trying to decied my self which size flux to run.I'm thinking 3.5myself unless I find some good info on larger fluxes.

Once I figure out the injectors I can start ripping the truck apart and start upgrading for next year.

yeah your probably right maybe 3.5's would suit me a little better?? Been rumored they might switch the 2.6 class to allow water so I don't need it now so thought I would upgrade so I could take advantage of it.

Even with The water (2 625 nozzels and 220psi pump) I cant keep it cool. I really dont know what im hitting but its over 1600 real fast id say before 100ft or less. If i had to do it over I would go with some 2.5 or 2.8s I know they perform well saw 2 trucks now hit 730hp with 2.5s. I really think that once you get a pump your truck will come to life. So my recmondation is GET A PUMP 1st and then see how you feel Ill bet you will be happey.

I think the 3's are very competitive. Many guys run them and kick tail in pulling.

The cost is very low to upgrade to a larger injector.
