Swapping injectors?

Question for Don M or if anybody has done it I have the flux 2's but for next year I was thinking I changing them to flux 4's or maybe 4.5 heck maybe bigger who knows but want to go bigger. Does anybody know how much Don charges to take a set of his injectors back and check to make sure everything is ok and send them back with the new tips or even just to swap out tips? My new injectors only have about 8,000 miles on them so should be fine but am gonna go bigger for next season so just wondering what the cost is gonna be. Also thought about selling mine and trying something different but really would like to stick to Don's injectors.

Chris your going to sceer the boy!!!!! But ya I would say the 66 wouldnt last to long. Not sure what your after Tory? HP wise. Maybe you should stick to a 3.5 or 3.8, egts are going to be threw the roof, plus do you plane on driving it everyday like you do now?

Oh well I just wanted to go as I can without major heat issues good thing you said something! If I go with a 2.8 charger I hopefully want to be close to 800?? I think I might keep a 2.6 charger though and make a solid 700+ the more the better without heat just need alot of water. I drive it but usually just weekends only. What you think is the biggest injector I can get and still be able to put maybe 300 miles on it a week?

Well Im sure Don will chime in, But I would say safely would be the 3.8 or maybe a 4, To much water with choke it, I have seen dyno runs with water and they change out the jet to a little bigger and lose, so it be something you need to play with for sure. You can make 700 on a smaller stick trust me ;-)

Rob doen't have the typical water injection. with my 3.3's my pry was at or around 1825 or so at my last pull. But I do know a fella running a silver 64 and flux 4's who is dominating. but he's getting god awful hot. After a half season of pulling is valves are sounding bad. Water does help a lot thow

I hope your planning on running a god awful amount of water. Even with a 2.8. Also too much fuel can choke a charger and lose power. Been there done that. Theres more to tuning a diesel than just adding a ton of fuel.

I think with flux 4's or maybe a little smaller like corey said 3.8's and a little water I should be ok but will see what Don has to say. Right now I have no smoke coming down the track so i know there is some room to throw some more fuel in there. that's why I thought I would post this to get some more info. If I have to maybe back down the tuning in the Smarty a bit. I'm still kinda thinking flux 4's though. I know there is more to tuning a diesel then a ton of fuel but i don't have even close to a ton of fuel yet but I'll get there! You guys running 3.5's aren't choking turbos down your all doing well so why couldn't I get away with a tad bit bigger??
