Suspension Kit/EMS Hub Conversion
I just got back in country and got my truck back from the shop. A Lorenz Kit with Bilsteins and 23% front springs along with DP springs in the rear. A Thuren track bar and steering stablizer were also ordered. A hub conversion kit was installed as well. I have two questions for anyone that can possibly help.
1. Tough Country leveling spacers were left on when the new springs were installed, will that cause a problem? The front end had new ball joints installed and the truck was alligned with the spacers installed. The nose is noticably higher than the rear, I can adjust with my air bags but the truck will be very high.
2. I ordered a Thuren steering stabalizer and have a front end Mag-Hytec pan. Will the steering stabalizer interfere with the pan? The shop would not install it the stabalizer since they thought the pan would hit it, I dont want to install it myself without directions or pictures and screw it up. I am not sure if it will work with my setup. Does anyone have a picture of one of these installed?
For everyone interested I have made two 6 hour trips with the truck and have had very favorable mileage improvements from the hub conversion kit, about 2MPG improvement on the overhead compared to previous readings.
Thanks for any help you all can provide.

Thanks for the info and I will install it, it should fit just fine. Thanks again for the pictures.
As far as the spacers what kind of damage can be done, I dont do much, if any offroading, is it just too tall for them with the spacers? I know this may sound stupid but I am not too fired up to have a shop take the front end apart again and have it alligned all over again. Will I really screw up the shocks?

I will look into taking the spacers off and redoing the allignment. I also need a replacement steering stabalizer. The Thuren stabalizer does not work with a Mag-Hytec pan and I need one that is heavy duty to go in place of the stock stabalizer in the stock location. Does anyone knoow of a manufacturer for one that will work?
Thanks for welcoming me home, I appreciate it and it is GREAT to be back in the USA!!

I believe Defiant Truck Products sells a drop in replacement stabilizer.
Careful with that diff cover. Some people have had problems with it striking the track bar.

Lorenz is also working on a SAW replacement single.
So, if you need one right now, the Radflo single is about the only choice for a quality unit...it may be worth waiting just a little though if you can.
