suspension geometry/ driveshaft questions
I just finished installing my 6 inch pro comp lift and i have a few questions. I know from building previous off roaders that on conventional straight axle with rack and pinion your track bar and drag link should be on the same angle. But on our suspension the drag link connects about 3/4 of the way down the tie rod and then continues on to the axle. So since the tie rod isnt even parallel to the deck, and the drag link connects in a different way, do the drag link and track bar still need to be on the same angle?
Also does anyone make an aftermarket rear driveshaft for our trucks? My U joint is shot and I would like to look at prices on driveshafts while I got it off. I am looking for possibly lighter, but I don't want to sacrifice strength.

I found out about the suspension. the "Y" setup like we have does not have to be on the same angle as the track bar. unlike traditional "V" setups which will produce bumpsteer.
HOWEVER, I still cannot find an aluminum driveshaft for the 05 crew cab short bed. The only one I found was for a 2008. Will it work?
