Question super swampers IROK radials?? looking for advice

are any of you DTR members running 41" radial IROKS?? thinking on buying a set...but don't know anything on radial swampers?? grew up with bias ply back in the 80's. just so many upgrades with tire companies and no experience with the radials.. if anyone can help with some feedback would be awesome.. running 37" toyos M/T now.. awesome tire...just can't seam to handle the freaking 40" price! LIKE around $600.00 a pop..OUCH!!!!!

I haven't been around the 41 Irok radials but I know for a fact that 36 Irok radials wear out FAST on a light jeep. I can't imagine our big heavy pigs rolling on anything that Interco makes. You might save alot of a set of tires but in 10,000 miles (or less) you will be doing it all over again.

I would take a look at the 38" ssrs and see what ya think. No first hand experience with the iroks but the people I know that have run em didnt get a lot of miles out of em. I got between 32-35k out of my ssrs on a superduty, they where 35s.

I 2nd the ssr, prob the best radial Interco makes. I had good luck with thornbirds. The tsl wore pretty fast, but went like gangbusters.
MPO, the Iroks are the worst looking and worst wearing tire of all SupSwpers.

I LOVE iroks.... for what they were intended for (rockcrawling). They are super soft and sticky. That is why they were so fast.

I had some Irok 36" on my '00 F250 and had no complaints. They wore fast but evenly with rotations at each oil change. Road noise was fairly loud...but it was expected with these.

Exclamation Iroks

so far..looks like these tires save you money, then wear out do to weight. i was hopeing that at least super swamper going to a radial would keep up with the bunch in wear and weight issiues... thanks guys for the feed back so far... just the $600 bucks a peice for toyo 40's kills me. thats why i was thinking about swampers. hey can't hurt to ask. and just don't want to go back to bias ply. funny thing with these 37'" toyos running now on a 10" wheel, i just noticed that the wear is kinda the "middle" of the tread. hummmmm i think they want 12 wide wheels.. oooch theres just more expence in wheels. running 17X10 eagles .. just think on what a say...18X12 would be..LOL forget 17 price... maybe just work on lifting this baby up some more and save ALOT of cash to wing the tires and wheels?? who know's.. just some thoughts. being i have a 9" lift total turning 37's , just i find after a week or so of looking at it, that it needs to be higher? when a F-350 comes rolling past you and you are almost even window to window doesn't seem right at all, when he's only running 33to35's..just ain't right. i found out that these dodges take alot of lift to look stout and big.....
