Super B Special vs. II Silver 64

trying to decide on which turbo to go with , most people think that i should have no problem getting around 650hp with either of these turbos, but I just wanted to know which between the two you guys would recommend or if there is a different one that might be better? Also would 130hp injectors be to big for either of these?

I'd do the Super B Special. BD;s turbo designer/engineer is "The Man".
He redesigned the S300 for Borg Warner and I believe BD kept a few internal secrets for their turbos only.
That's the rumor, anyway!
But, in truth, you'll love either.

I know either one would be a great choice and will get the job done.
I would go with the BD as it is a 64/71/14 and will prove a little bit quicker spool up along with still being able to cool on the top end.

Another BD vote here. Some of the guys at Left Coast Diesel run them and have done some amazing things with them.

Just saw your second question.
I think either of these turbos will get toasty with over 600 hp.
But short of Drag Racing, they should be very nice for short bursts of WOT.

You are right on the 600hp starting to get a little warm. The turbo will still do that kind of number, but you will have to keep an eye on EGTs. The turbo was designed to be a 550hp turbo, but there have been guys push it further with no problems, other than having to watch the pyro a little quicker.
