I have no experience with the early common rails, but I made 522hp with the old Smarty beta 4.4, a lift pump, and the small BD twins.
I would have to think a 2003 with a small set of twins, revo programming, a TST and a lift pump would have to make over 500 hp....and would tow with perfect manors.
When towing there is no replacement for twins....At least in my opinion.

Thanks for all the info!
Thank for all your input, it is appreciated. If i can figure out my random dieing issues (leaning towards injecotor pump) I'm looking at the a stage 2 from either industrial or floor it and calling htt and industrial for which turbo that will have the strength for hooking to sleds on occasion. I see everyone is suggesting the smarty and everything i read it is a fantastic product and can make some sick power but as i understand it there is no adjustablity on the fly. I did some more searching and have seen some folks with a turbo upgrade the newest TST and a MP-8 getting what I am looking for on 03 but you had to the get an upgraded injector pump to keep it from beeing surgy so the rail is kep well supplied. Will wait on stix till they fail. I don't doubt the injecectors are diff on the newer versuse the old models based on part #'s, but does anyone know the specifics like if the flow rates are different or differnt charge per duty cycle. just wanting to know how different they are if any one knows. Are they compatable by any chance a friend of mine is getting ready to upgrade his and thought about paying his core charge if they will work in my motor.
