stock turbo modifications?
i was wondering if rebuilding or having someone rebuild or modify my stock turbo would be worth it. with my current set-up i need more air up top, she dies out around 85 mph. i mean you can stay in it, but it just gets sluggish. i dont know if the funds are there right now for a new 62 turbo, especially since im trying to get me a decent daily driver and take the truck off the road for a bit.
so opinions? thoughts? i have approx. 71k on my stock turbo, she peaks around 42 psi from time to time.

At 42 psi boost, you arent running out of air. You are probably restricted by the exhaust housing. It is like a big ol' cork and once you take off your stocker, you will wonder how it ever ran with that tiny exhaust wheel.
I never had problems making power with the HE351 but it just felt kinda flat above 2700 rpm but that was in every gear.
Do you have your wastegate pinched off or any turbo controller on there?
