Question Stock Steel Rim Question

anyone running BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO LT285/70R-17 on the 17" x 7.5" Steel Argent Styled Wheels that come on a 05 2500 ST?

i ran 37"x13.5" toyos on the stock chrome rims for 20k with no probs, just put in slightly less air pressure than normal

i sold my st stock steel rims in front of house one saturday this past summer for 300.00 to a guy who owns his own used car lot!! i used that money to buy myself a set of the factory aluminum rims off of ebay!! still made 20.00 bucks!

It should be fine, the BFG 285/70R/17 All Terrain T/A KO specifications call for 7.5-9.0 inch wheel width.

i actually did just that a few weeks ago. went to the local les schwab and he gave me a set of the poilshed aluminum stock rims for $100 and put my 37's on those. theres pics in the thread about my new stacks

I have had that tire and wheel combination on my truck for almost 15,000 miles now and no problems.

I have the smaller 16" wheel. I am currently running 285-75r16 bfg A/Ts with no problems (its only been 500 miles).

the 285 is the biggest that you can go with out the leveling kit, isnt it?
