Stock fuel system... keep or remove

Those of you that have a fass or Air Dog did you take the stock system out or just leave it. I see no need to keep it because the stock filter housing and fuel lines will get contaminated if not used or sealed. Just wondering what you guys are doing...

Thanks

Just take out the stock pump and use everything else.

My FASS install bypasses the entire original lift pump and filter. It is all still there for now. It could be plumbed back up if really needed, but I don't know if I could do it now or not. Been to loog since I had the FASS installed and went over what needed to be done to put original system back in place. I am pretty sure it will never be used again.

I plan on going through it and using a filter in the canister, mainly to keep the WIF light. Know its not needed, but what would it hurt?

It should not hurt anything I would think. The only potential issue I could see is if the FASS pump quits. The FASS is designed so that if the pump fails the CP3 can still suck fuel through the FASS. This would allow for limping short distance if necessary. Not sure how much added constraint that would be with the OEM filter and added plumbing.
