If/when there is an adrenaline for the 3rd gen. trucks it most likely is not going to be something that is a moderate increase in power based on what we have seen already out of the adrenaline line. I would be willing to bet that you will have to have a hefty amount of mods to go along with it to run it hard and to turn the power up. He would probably be better off going with an X2/commander combo to keep things in the moderate range and that will give him the gauges and defueling that he is looking for.

Wow, I guess I am the only one with a vote in the "other" category. I was thinking TST, but that was before I read that the guy interested doesn't want alot of power. How about the TST economax?

Another vote for Edge. With over 60,000 safe miles (minus the tranny) on my truck

Gale Banks Rocks! NOT!

Have him try the aftermarket injector program on the smarty and quit wasting money on unnecessary stuff! :-)

Quad Std Box

I had an Edge EZ and switched to the Quadzilla Standard Box (0-100). The quad box was much better it's power seems like more on the 60 hp setting that the edge did on 70, the quad had less rattle to it, and the power is very smooth/gradual. It has been a great box for me towing and I have had it about 60K miles with no problems. The quad race has the power come on a little quicker so a little smoke and it seems to rattle a bit.

Your not comparing apples to apples. The EZ was pressure only.
