Question Steering stabilizer(Windecker Machine ltd)

Has anyone installed a steering stabilizer from Windecker Machine ltd company located in Canada.If so how do you like it?Did you see any real improvement in your steering?I am thinking about ordering one for my 2004 quad cab.This is the web-site www.solidsteel.biz Thanks for any info.coobie

Looks to me like it only fits yrs 94-02. It may not fit your 04. Are you having problems with your steering? The track bars look good though!

Mikey 4X4 the steering stabilizer fits the 2003,s on up from windeckers main web-site,I going to call them tomarrow to make sure.I have noticed a little drift in my front end,nothing serious,but noticeable.I have about 24,000 miles on my truck.coobie

Yeah, I see that now Very interesting.... but I ain't had any steering problems, yet. It does look to be very sturdy with that extra bearing at the bottom of your steering shaft.

A steering stabilizer isn't going to correct drift! In reality they reall just mask problems. Have your truck aligned at a reputable shop.

Already tried that approach,and had the wheel bearings checked.coobie

I have had mine for at least 70k now. It did help with a couple problems I was having. Not a cure all for all of the possibilities though. All in all I would do it again as it just seems like a heck of good idea to have that extra suport.
