Stall Speed Questions

From my sig. you can see what I am running.
I am thinking I am approaching the limits of the stock setup, so I am going for a billet TC, VB kit, and possibly a flexplate. My primary objectives are reliability, mileage, and driveability, but I don't want a dog either. My feeling is that with the great low-end torque that even the stock 600 puts out, dropping the stall speed roughly 200 rpm should be ok. 95% of the time I am running near empty, and never tow more than 6K (very rarely...like maybe once a year), so my questions are these:
Lower stall speed? Does it help with mileage or trans fluid temps?
Flexplate needed?
What are the realistic limits to the proposed setup with stock tires?

Thanks for the imput. I really appreciate this forum.

As you add power you must get the converter to hold it in the torque. This is usually around 18-1900.
Call DTT to get it explained better.
There is a LOT more to a converter than stall speed!
There is a lot more to a trans than just a converter.
Address it all while it is out, and have a trans that is solid.
