does anyone know the definete answer on this as of a current date?
Got a couple bad injectors on the solenoid part so wanting to get new ones. Wanted to go with don at f1 and do the new style bodies and some flux 1 or 2 but have some major plans instore for the truck in near future and doesnt make much since to go with a smaller nozzle for few months and then have to switch to bigger ones. So I was wanting to just do stock injectors but wanting to for sure get the newer style bodied ones so thatll be few less to buy when I do the bigger nozzles. Have done lots of reading on this and its starting to be as clear as mud. So the new style and old have same part number, but if you buy supposedly new ones from a bosch distributor are they they new body or the old ones and just remaned? or do they upgrade all the remaned ones? and is there any physical way to tell difference besides new one is shinier? And have heard the actually new style are like $500 a piece and are very short supply.. so if all this is true mayb will just go with don and all new bodies and small tips but only if last resort. hope someone can shed some clean light on this

 

Anything you buy NEW now is the updated metallurgy in the body. I don't think its possible to buy the older types cuz thay have all gone to China with the rest of our parts.
