I'm surprised at how close the poll is I thought that stacks would blow the train horns out of the running!

BTW I chose stacks ..........but get both if you can afford it!!

BCD is one place, I think you can get some from MBRP and Im sure there are other mfg's. If it were me - build your own stack setup - you will save a good bundle of cash!

Im in the process of putting together a dual 7 inch kit. My brother has a buddy that has a truck salvage yard and hes going to get me some. Maybe check into getting them from a salvage yard. Way cheaper.

train horns...

You already have a decent exhaust system, and once you put on stacks you can't go back unless you don't mind the big hole you had to cut in the bed. Then there is the whole, "black rain" thing you have to deal with when you start it up after a storm and pepper your truck... I think stacks look great, but I wouldn't put them on my truck, and one other thing you have to make sure you keep everything in the bed clear of them.

Stacks:
Pros:
Look cool
Something to launch stuff out of
Attention getter

Cons:
Spotted truck
Usually very loud
Hole in bed
Lose of some bed space
Attention getter

Horns:
Pros:
Very loud attention getter (when wanted)
Scarring people is endless fun
Good compressor and small air tank and you now have air when needed

Cons:
Aren't as flashy as stacks
takes air and plumbing

I am sure there are many more but I would be putting my money in the horns.

Have fun and Merry Christmas!!!

Well, I will get flamed with you. I do not see the idea of stacks in the first place. Money could be much better spent elsewhere and you won't have people looking at you wondering "does that Peterbuilt wannabe really think his truck looks cool with that crap on it?" Please don't shoot me, I have actually heard that statement several times..........
