Thanks! It will get lift and tires as soon as all this Global Cooling takes a break and we get some Warming back in the forecast. My biggest problem right now is choosing a set of wheels.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... I have hood envy!!!! I called to day and they wanted $1300 for the hood paint and assembly... I saw one in the classified's for $500 allready silver and can't find it now. Heck I will pay to have it shipped to Idaho and still be cheaper!!

I like the looks of that hood also ! I maybe the answer I have been looking for. Ever since a installed my Ranchand front replace, my temp went up a little. Guess from the reduced air flow. This hood may be the ticket and it looks great !!

Think it will cool me back down ??? I run over 200 now during the summer months. Heavy towing especially.

Get hot down here is July and August. Someone tell if they think it will be a benefit.

You could try to find a 180 degree thermostat. That's what I run in the summertime. It keeps my truck right at 180 degrees all the time. I think Cummins discontinued it but not before I got mine. I used the same one on my old 98.5 and the 03 and it will go on the 07 as soon as it gets hot out.... PM me if you need the part number. I have it in the box at home...
