Spray in Bedliners???
I was set on a Line-X, but.....the other day I saw the Full Metal Jacket liner, and I must say, I was quite impressed with it. It seemed to have more texture to it, and the over all appearance of it was awesome. I talked to the guy that owned it and supposedly it's supposed to be guaranteed against fading! Anybody else know anything about these liners???

Lots of line-x dealers may have stopped spraying Line-x..mine actually said he was still spraying line-x but did not know for how long cause Line-x was pushing a bunch of new franchise expenses on him
mine is Line-x but the tag says "Liners Inc"
take it for what its worth I am just passing along what my dealer/sprayer said

If Line-X is pushing higher franchise expenses I could see why dealers would stop using their product, but I don't think it would cause them to go out of buisness. Unless they're being bought out. I haven't heard anything about that though.

I don't really care for the line-x liners. I've had one in my previous truck and my dad has one currently. The surface is just too coarse as already mentioned and things never stay put. Afterall, this is one of the reasons for purchasing a spray-on bedliner. I have a reflex liner and I have a lifetime warranty against fading and everything else. I think it looks great and it has a more rubber based texture. I can tell you that NOTHING moves whatsoever in my bed. It's been in for 1 1/2 years and I've been really happy with it. My best advice is just to look at the different ones and order samples then pick whichever suits you the best.

I went with Rhino and the *installers* did a great job - the lines where the liner wraps over the side of the bed are straight, the bed is noticeably thicker than the sides (which seemed thick already) plus I get free fixes if I tear it. My friend who always liked Line-X was impressed with the install.
So maybe the installers make a difference... I also got a $100 discount by buying a canopy from a referring dealer. My pics didn't turn out so well or I would've posted them.

You can't go wrong with "hot process" liners like line-x and full metal jacket. The tinsel strength of those type of liners is alot higher than the others, making them alot tougher.

Got a so called z-liner at my local ziebart, its guaranteed not to fade, they used to sell line-x but made their own. I see quite a few trucks with it in the area and they all seem rather dark still. FYI, rhino will fade, not sure on the warranty though.
