Speedo recal.
Ok, I did it, and I like it so far...
Replaced the wheels and tires with new Centerline and Toyo setup.
It came out great, just do not remind me of the bill.
Anyway, I went this morning to my dealer to recalibrate the speedo for the new tires and they could not do it. The mech. hhoked up the computer found the tire changing menu, but it only offered a set of tires, of course none that matched mine. Bottom line they could not do it?
Did they miss something? What can I do next?
Thanks,
Peter

get the revs per mile for your new tires and have the tech go to the "other" menu in the tire selection window. in that window you should be able to input revs per mile. then you are set.

I've got a flashpaq and it re-calibrated my speedo right on the money. It goes in quarter inch incriments. One thing to watch tho is the listed size on your tire might not be actual. I took a 4' level and a tape measure to mine and my "35" was really a 33.5 once I plugged it in it was dead on. Oh and I picked up a ton of power too. Or just have a friend in a stock rig pace you and go from there, you get used to doing the math pretty quick. I had my dealer origionally try to re-do my speedo and they blew it. Dont give them ant tips the dumber they are with the computer the less likely they are to find traces of your future programmer

I have the superchips flashpaq 3805 and it worked great for recalibration of speedo. I have 35 BFG mud and they measure 34 and I had to play around with the numbers to get it exactly correct on mile posts. This number was 33.5. Extreme diesel was the cheapest 393.
