Speakers in the dash, how to remove the dash???
I have the low end sound system in my truck and would like to add a better speaker system. The dash has the mounts for the tweeters, as now it doesn't have any speakers up there.
Is it worth the effort to install tweeters in the dash?
Is the sound quality going to be that much improved?
Any chance of breaking anything on the dash while removing it?
It's either this or just replace the speakers in the door.
What do you all think?

I've been wondering the same thing, just have had other priorities I've wanted to get done. To add to the list of questions, can you run the tweeters off of the low-end stock cd radio? I'm guessing there is a stock amplifier that needs to be installed also, and by then I would probably be better off just upgrading the whole system. But answers to these would silence some of the quieter voices in my head. The loud ones are trying to decide.... TST or Smarty... soon to be a new thread. So don't answer the loud voices here.
