Question SPA Gauges?

I had a thread earlier about overhead mounts and gauges and thanks for the feed back.. I had my mind made up on the DI Procol Optix gauges or the Isspro EV2 analog gauges for the mount..

But.. Now I was looking around for another thread here and found the SPA gauges and forgot about them.. Has any one been using them lately? They are a significant cost, but I don't need the programmer/monitor system as I am going another route with the 6.7.

Any feedback good-bad-ugly on SPA appreciated...

I have had mine since 01. They work great and have had no issues except one. The backlighting. Several of my lights have gone out. I am told they can fix them but have not done it. I have also heard that they have redesigned them since I got mine (the lights that is seems like it was a fairly common issue at one point)

Well, 1 out of 40,000 eh? I remember these were all the rage, but I guess now you can get the Commander or Edge to do the same thing just about.

I may go with these...

Have 'em on my 96.....same problem as above. I've also replaced the TC once in 7 years, probably from vibration.

Get the 1/8" TC if you can, it responds better than the 1/4".

So lighting and the TC is the main complaint? Hmm. would those that own them get them again or are they worth the cost?

So far it breaks down to Di Pricol set of 3 for about $420, Isspro EV2 set of 3 for $490 and then a 2 gauge set from SPA for 4 total for $760.

I'll likely do them again on my 3rd gen. I'm partial to the programmable idiot lights and peak recalls.

When istalled properly they are the most accurate and fast acting/reading gauges manufactured. I put one in a srt-10 gauge pod and it looks functions great along with the cool down circuit.

Nothing but the best for my vechicles. Do it right, once.

You also have several options not available from any other source.

Just read the evaluations by a gauge engineer.
