Hey all, the UPS man was good to me today and delivered my clutch. How do you all like the FE and are there any installation tips and tricks that you all would like to share? Ive changed a few clutches before, just wondering what to expect. Also, the clutch that I have is slipping when turning up the stack, but is still easy to shift. Should I wait before putting in this new one till the stock one goes out, or put it in right away? Thanks all

 

I love my Southbend Clutch. No problems so far.

I would put it in right away and turn it up. I know my luck would leave me in the middle of the freeway, with the stock clutch.

Had mine installed at Relentless Diesel.

 

I dont know of anyone around here to do it. Id rather put it in myself anyway. I have 42000 miles on the truck. Do you all think I should change the rear seal while im in there?

 

Might as well do all the seals. It cant hurt.

 

What would someone normally be charged for a clutch install job?
Just wondering.
