South Bend Ductile Clutchs????

Im really considering buying one of these and im wondering what the pros and cons of thee ductile is. Whats the diffrence between the ductile and a the standard material?

Chad, they are non sfi rated so they are not usually accepted in most pulling sanctions or racing sanctions. They are however a cheaper alternative for a street only vehicle that needs the extra holding power. They are still built with the same quality that south bend puts in each unit.

As Lloyd says, they are one tough clutch and the average street racer will love it. The downside is that it will not hold up to heavy racing and sled pulling abuse.

They are one of the fastest shifting doubles out there as well

They dont have the bronze inlay on the flywheel either do they?

im getting one after the first of year to replace my 3250 12cb im going witht the ductile 6cb 3250

Im thinking the same thing Dwitt. The tax check will go towards a new clutch.

i have to mine is slipping due to the clutch fork problem and some oil soak but peter is helping me out on it.
