Just ordered my SB ofe from Gus at farm boy diesel, he is redstreak here. Shipping it today, maybe get in on monday. that's fast to washington. got a good price, the man gives discount to DTR members. Polite, courteous, friendly, I love service like that.
I know what I am doing next weekend.

why would that be a good thing? they would just charge you more for it. I got a good deal on it, but it still cost quite abit. to have to buy a flywheel on top of it, ouch!

There are photos of a G56 stock flywheel to a solid flywheel here.

I wonder at what level of power, with the G56 flywheel, you have to replace the flywheel. Can a g56 owner just get a different plate & disc & run it with the "springy" flywheel.

Dz, would you mind pming me with the price.
I got a price on one for a G56 and it was the same as the NV5600, BUT I could be mistaken, or maybe it was an intro deal or somethin
The reason I say its a good thing is once the clutch comes in you can put it in. No waitin to get the flywheels resurfaced.

You need to make sure the trans is on the jack so it doesnt pull the front of the motor upward and damage something.
I guess you could support the rear of the engine in the pan area.
