Is there any 1 else on here running a 3600 DD 12CB clucth on the g56 trans? mine at low rpm chatters and vibrates the truck under a little load and is worse when the motor is under a heavy load from 1000rpm-1800rpm and is the worst in 5th gear to the point of vibrating the truck to the point that the abs light comes on any thing over 1800rpm the clutch is fine any 1 have any ideas or is this typical with the dd?

This is normal with a DD clutch because they dont have the shock springs in the clutch plates ,they are just solid and all the noise and vibration get transmitted straight thru the tranny.. Plus the floater plate will rattle also.
Southbend just came out with a new DD with the springs.

I have that clutch, but with springs.
I wouldnt think you would want your truck under heavy load at 1000rpms anyway.
Not to be smart, but it seems that you just need to keep you rpms up.
Mine does chatter and make some noise but nothin like what you described.
