I have had digital gauges... (Edge Attitude) and I was not very thrilled with them... this may not be the case with every brand of digital gauge, but I'll stick with the old fashioned mechanical ones...

I've been working in the high tech industry for almost 30 years and computers are great. Heck, I'm sitting in front of one right now!

But they are only as good as the people who program them, and people make mistakes. I don't trust them. Kinda like women - can be fickle, ya know?

i prefer mechanical gauges myself, but figured i may try digital since my old truck looked like an F22 raptor cockpit. just wanted to be less cluttered and thought this might be an option. its nice that the new canbus gauges will tell you everything you dont care about. expcept for maybe 2 or 3 things......
