solid steel adjustable lower control arms

If you are looking for adjustability then they are probably good. If you don't know how to setup suspension for proper geometry, then you should just get some custom length ones fabbed up for you.
I have a set of the TopGun Customz adjustables on my truck, and I like them, but... I have a decent amount of experience setting pinion angles and stuff for our off road rigs and it wasn't bad for me.
It is a pain to get them both set perfectly correct however. You have to do a lot of measuring, placing them, setting them up, lowering the truck to ride height, checking and rechecking, its a lot of work. Maybe the ones Thuren makes are easier, I'm not sure.. The principle is the same though so not sure it would be.
Heres the kicker.. If you decide what you want to do ahead of time you can get a custom set built from TopGun for around $200 or a little more. Any length you want. Just tell them how much lift your gonna run, if you want them to push the tires further forward in the wheel wells, and they do it for you. Its much nicer to let them do it. They know suspension, especially for our trucks. I had a set made for the wifes truck (3" lift on it) and they did a VERY nice job, pinion angle was perfect, and they set the axle 1/2" ahead in the wheel well EXACTLY like I asked them to do. They didn't even need measurements from me, they've done so many.

thanks chad for the heads up.right now i just have a leveling kit on my truck- i realigned the axle with thurens adjustable trac bar. but i know down the road, i'll have a lift kit- so i am thinking ahead ( one of my factory control arms is bent) i need new control arms, so i was thinking of getting the adjustables, knowing i will have a lift kit down the road-so right now- i would just keep them factory length until i needed to "figure" out what length i needed to extend them when i do install a lift..

Okay I understand what your going for now.. If you are patient you can definitely get them done and setup no problem. It just take a little bit of time.
Solid steel can probably get you setup in the right direction as far as what lengths to set them for with your leveling kit. Just call and talk to them and see what they can do for you.
Are you looking at a full set or just the lower control arms? The lowers are listed at like $495 (what does it cost with the uppers??) May want to talk to Don Thuren or hit up TopGun... Thats a lot for just the lowers.

After reading the title of your post I saw "lower control arms"... You don't get a lot of adjustability with just lowers... Making them longer on the bottom will start to point the yoke on the diff down... I would look somewhere else, or track down a stock arm. I have the stock arms off my truck. If you pay the shipping I'll send them to you. That way you don't have to buy stuff till your ready.
Let me know if you want them.

alittle confused now- i was going to get the lower adjustable control arms now- since i needed new lower control arms. solid steel says they are good from 0-5 inches of lift. down the road when i install my lift- i was going to get adjustable upper control arms if needed. you mention that you do not get a lot of adjustablilty with lower adjustable control arms- i assumed the opposite.
