So I just bought a smarty and dont get the 230hp tune????

I just wanted to make sure I've read all of this right, the REVO software is based off the 170(130 for 555's)hp tunes? And there is no more non high rpm TNT???? I was under the impression that I would get a 230 tune?

The 230 tune is vin locked and you must have the proper supporting mods to be able to get the tune from Bob.

Is the TNT tune 230hp? Or just the TNT_R? Is the REVO tune the same hp ratings as the 4.11?

the race tune will drain the rail with stock injectors and modded cp3. You need dual cp3 and loooooooooooooooooots of air to support that tune. its awesome though.

That's not what Bob said about the first +230 test truck back in 2007

My understanding was that you only needed supporting mods for the TNT_R and not the regular TNT.

all i know is what we saw, every truck is different, take it for what its worth! That tune is made for race applications and you gotta be set-up to run it. Also if you have stage 2 and above injectors, WATER is a must. Maybe there is different VIN locked versions, but this is what we have seen. It works awesome and there is nothing out there that is close to the Smarty now.

Wow please dont tell me I just spent $700 in persuit of a tune that I cant have! What can I do to get the Non R TNT????? I have the airdog, intake, exhaust, gauges, good clutch, etc...... all that good stuff. I really dont need 4k rpm but cant stand to know I'm missing out on all that extra power! Especially since I'm already starting with a 555 motor.

You need to have springs to get the race tune. Bob also does not call it TNT anymore he calls it Revo/R. Also for the comment of draining the rail. My Rail pressure reads better with the smarty on the truck then running it stock. I would think even a slightly modded cp3 could get away with this tune without huge injectors. Reb B. I really don't agree with anything, I am running the SMarty Revo/R and flux 2's and am only seeing 1500 degrees dragging a sled down the track. On the street I don't eve see 1300. The smarty is a very cool on egts wise and psuhes rail pressure up. Johns floor it stage 2 could keep up easy I think. I was seeing 19,000 pulling down the track with a stock cp3.

I dont want the race tune because I really dont need 4k rpm, I want the NON R TNT, so 230hp non race. Is that possible or not?

The Race tune has an option to disable the RPMs, so I guess the the TNT/R would be fine if you make sure you have the revs disabled. But the non R would be nice to not have the chance to do something wrong

My guess is that the revo is a beefy 4.11 like tune but has four factors able to adjust while connecting to the truck instead of taking 45 mins to download off the website for a different tune of 4.11. I know this REVO isnt as strong as the betas so it cant be the 230. if bob calls, what used to be tnt now REVO-R what does he call the old TNT-R(4000rpm tune)? and the revo cant be the tnt because its the only option for all smarty's trying to upload. so my guess is that the tnt is only obtainable through bob

That may be our only option yet we are not allowed to have it.

Well I guess I need springs just so I can have a disabled 4k rpm tune!
