Snow water/meth kit

I just put a stage 2 kit on mine on saturday. First time i floored it, i was doing about 60 mph and boom, I blew the intercooler hose right on the turbo. It sure spools up the stock turbo in a hurry. Time for a sps 62. Just using -40 washer fluid my egts climb twice as fast,but it sure pulls hard. I'm just going to use water until the wife oks a turbo

.ive heard never run more than a 50/50 mix.....-40* is probably some nasty stuff!

The -40 stuff shouldn't be over 50%, I wouldn't think. I mixed a batch 75% water 25% fluid tonite and tried it,alot milder and smoother. Can't run staight water yet, still to cold at night. I'm going to call snows tomorrow, can't get it to start injection above 19 psi. But overall I'm pretty happy with it.

03 rmk, I think that you are supposed to run the -35 stuff... seems to me that I read that somewheres. Where did you get yours, and how much did you pay? Is yours the stage 2 or 3?

On a stock truck it adds around 70hp. It will add even less on a modded truck unless you were completely heat soaking things without it. John at Floor It thought I might see 25-30hp, but I had a problem with the check valve and it wasn't working. I'm going down on the 18th and I'll know then what it does - for me anyway.

John at Floor It thought I might see 25-30hp, but I had a problem with the check valve and it wasn't working. I'm going down on the 18th and I'll know then what it does - for me anyway.

but im serious theres a bunch of new found power.
Does it somehow work in conjunction with timing? cause i have LOTS of timing and the water/meth gets rid of the slight rattle and just hauls.

I lost power with mine. It was only 32 degrees outside but, back to back runs no other changes then flipping the toggle 744hp to 737hp. It did lower egts more than 100. I am running 25% solvent and 75% distilled water. I will be running just water when it is above freezing. I am not looking for power, just cooling . Tim

Man what is NADP trying to sell me,,, George told me 1300,, somethings wrong there.... I will have to double check. Is it worth it to go to the stage 3?
