I can't figure out why people are so surprised about the BDTD, I've never had a problem, never thrown a code...

my bullydog has never gave me problems yet besides all the power slipped my clutch but now ive got a better one and dont have to worry about it. I put it on my 05 at 12000 miles and now have 101,654 and have not had a single problem.Everyone on here is all king over the smarty but i have no reason to change to a smarty

Now don't get me wrong, I have both smarty and Bullydog,I don't want any wars but...
what if Smarty is stronger in the 03 trucks, other than that , what else does it prove-that Bullydog is junk-absolutely NOT.
Smarty has it's pros and Bullydog has it's pros.
Even if Smarty is stronger all the way around-it should be,that's all Smarty handles is dodge cummins.Bullydog handles a whole lot more than just dodge, not to mention several other products besides a downloader.

I really don't give a fat rat's *** one way or the other, if Samarty wins it won't be by much and maybe people will give the BD a little more respect.

Besides, I paid $300 for the BDTD and I'm happy with it, what'd you pay for the Smarty?

the debate on cumminsforum is heating up and still no word yet but imo 05-06 bullydog is better and 03-04 smarty is better but we will just have to wait and see for sure! one thing though, i'm sure whatever the outcome is it will only be about 30-40 peak hp in the tunes. i can personally say i have never had any trouble what so ever with my triple dog and the power is definently there if you have the right tunes if ya know what i mean

Run them down the track. Numbers on a dyno, sure, are nice to brag about. But you can dyno less and be faster...

Ive never had a BD truck outrun me. That girl with the PMT thought shed show me something. She got a jump on me from about 40 but once my tires hooked up...well, she got a good show of the stacks leavin her in a haze...

Wow. Lots of good info we have. Hear say. No vids. Just info passed from one site to another. Besides, you do get what you pay for like posted above. I owned the BD and liked it, but it always threw a code. Got tired of seeing the ABS and Brake light on too. There was no such thing as smooth power with the BD either. Just all power right now. Lots of TLC went into the Smarty and anyone that owns one can tell. Plus, maybe it has been posted, but were both trucks programmed using the BD and Smarty? Or was each truck ran with Stock Programming first, and then only the BD programmer on one, and the Smarty on the other? Truck #1 Stock/Smarty. Truck #2 Stock/BD. Or was it Truck #1 Stock/Smarty/BD. Truck #2 Stock/Smarty/BD. May be a dumb question, but didn't see where or how they ran them.
