Smarty updated

I was running my smarty on sw#9 with the ez on 1 and it just felt like the power was lacking a little. I think I get used to it and dont realize how good it really is. I changed the fuel filter and that seemed to help. I went to one of my buddies house and he put version 4.11 with mild torque management and boy that woke this thing up. I am now running on sw#7 and this thing is super responvisve. I am not sure what version I had on there but this one is great. Do they get any better than this? Smarty is truly the best programmer out there!

On a stock clutch and fuel system don't expect much more on sw9, it won't do anything but slip clutches and drain rails. The newer programs are more linear, more sophisticated and not so touchy down low.

I am on my second factory clutch now. The other one would occasionally slip and I took it in and they warrantied it. The truck has 17,000 miles on it now. I will be ready if it starts to act up again. I try to keep my foot out of it but it is nice to know its there if you need it. I plan on putting a southbend clutch in. They told me they have one for 450hp and one for 550hp. I am going with the 550 unless anyone else has other suggestions. My plan is clutch, upgrade fuel system, then single or twin turbos. Then I will be done! (Yeah right)

try the beta4.2! im running the sw9 with a little added pressure, and the thing is so responsive, that im thinking of going down to sw5 or 7 just to make the throttle a little less sensitive! It rocks!

Thanks Bob!

I don't have any experience with the 4.2 or 4.3, but the 4.4 kicks butt big time over the 4.11.
