Im confused on the sticky about the 4.x software. It says if I download what new software and I won't be able to upload any of the 4.x software? I have a 04 with 305hp motor. Will I have that problem? Im fixin to buy a smarty and want to make sure because I want to try the 4.4 beta/race software out but also if I don't like it I want to be able to switch to something else..

 

Havnt seen the sticky but You wont need the beta to be happy. Plus the race software is COMING!!!......................................... ........

According to the sticky, do not update the Smarty software if you wish to use the 4.4 beta. Try it out if you wish and if you don't like it and wish to update to the latest software on the Smarty, then do so.

 

When you buy a Smarty new, it is already updated with the newest update.

So when you get it in, update to the 4.4, and if you dont like it you can get the software off the site. As long as you dont put newer software on the truck you will be fine.

 

Call or email Bob and ask him if he will load that program for you when you make the purchase.
