smarty with trans go what power is "good"
Ok i will be getting a pod soon and first i will be doing the trans i will be doing the trans go kit with the billet intermediate servo, no leak accumulator, band and anchor governor sensor and solenoid. I will eventually get a tc but wont be for a while, my question is what setting can i run the pod at? i was hoping for about 100 horse so sw5 would be perfect right? but i want to know if it will handle it or if it will destroy it? thanks guys

i'm running a smarty Jr on Sw3 and quadzilla x2 with regular programming set to 2 or 3 for daily driving and it does fine with the mods you listed except governor sensor. I was thinking about doing that or bore plugs because i have a nasty 2-3 shift at light gear, but don't know if is hunting.

Its more of a surge followed by a clunk but goes into gear firmly like it should. It just comes on unexpectdly sometimes as just revs up out of no where. Or sometimes just downshifts just to rev up to about 2K and sits there until i give it greater throttle.
Besides that i feel everythings nice and the shifting is a great improvement over stock. Just need to get this one surge issue solved. I may need a valve bore plug for the 1-2 gear which is what it sounds like since sometimes i have a late upshift in second gear.
I don't regret the transgo kit its really nice and we didnt drill the hole for TC lockup and now its dead smooth you cant even tell its locks except the drop in revs. When i use more throttle it shifts much better and is more predictable so after this week ill get back to my mechanic to let him know whats going on and see the fix.

depends on if you want some firmness when it shifts into lockup...Mine like is said is rediculously smooth i cant believe how smooth it is and dont need the firmer lockup depends on where your going with the truck. i may get triple disk so your not supposed to drill it but if i get a single i'll drill one hole. Its much better than stock though. I just hope i can fix this light throttle issue.
