Smarty TNT setting to match Beta 4.2
What setting on the TNT would get me as close to the Beta as possible, or stronger.... I don't have access to a dyno, and my butt dyno don't seem to be working too well cause it seems that no matter what I try, it doesn't seem as strong as the 4.2?
Any suggestions.

Yep, much stronger and NO popping. As I understand it the betas had a good bit of timing and I've never had any popping issues until the TNT. Even when I stacked timing on top of timing quad/smarty, I didn't have any popping. I think there's more to it then just a timing issue, the reason I think this, is because of the tranny issues I only see w/ the TNT and TNTR. I believe what we have is a TPS/ECM communicating issue that Marco will have to look into, but I sure cant explain how there are a few 03-04s that are running just fine w/ the TNT stuff.

I'm in Tom's boat, but with a 6 spd. Can't get it to not pop in 3rd no matter what setting. Bob said they will be making some fixes in October. Til then, I'm just fine with the betas.
The betas blew away the TNT on my truck, especially the low end, top end felt close but wasn't used to having to push the pedal through the floor to go fast. The betas you don't have to even push it half way and its rolling hard.

Rip, how does the regular Revo tune on #7, timing=default, RP=3, TM=3 or 4(they both run good), how does this tune run on yours, if you've tried it? My truck really likes this one when I add some pressure, it doesn't like the RP on 4 though.

Yeah Rick, try it(only on #7 for some reason, #9 is no good on mine???) and let me know what you think, it's the only tune I go back and forth w/ from the 4.2. I do like it(much better than 4.11) and I will dyno it soon, I've got some new mods coming so I'll be waiting to install them first.

I do, I really do. I have no idea why 7 runs better than 9, I'm not running out of fuel on nine, it just seems sluggish. Timing on default for sure, but I don't have injectors and your 90s might like something different.
